Scores by genre

Cinematic music, tuned to your genre.

Genre sets the rules a score has to play by — what a horror cue can withhold, how much an action sequence can carry, where a drama needs silence. The reel is organised the same way, so you can hear each palette in context.

Horror and thriller film composer

Horror scoring lives in restraint and release: prepared strings, sub-bass, treated textures and long stretches where the music refuses to resolve. Thrillers ask for the same discipline with a pulse underneath. Work in this space includes Devil in the Trunk, Intoxify and The Lacerated.

Science fiction and fantasy scoring

Sci-fi and fantasy invite invented sound worlds — synthesis folded into orchestra, choral layers, instruments processed until they belong to somewhere else. I Am Spaceman and Tenkara both sit here.

Action and drama

Action cues are built for the edit: modular, percussive, and cut-proof when the sequence changes the day before the mix. Drama runs the other direction — piano, small ensemble, and space for the performance to breathe.

Orchestral, hybrid, electronic and ambient

Every genre above can be realised as full orchestral writing, a hybrid orchestral and synth score, purely electronic production, or ambient texture. The palette is a conversation, not a house style — and Jeffrey will happily prepare a custom playlist from the catalogue that matches the reference you already have in mind.
